To coincide with the launch of Good Jeans, the company was a proud sponsor of the first annual DC for BC Benefit in support of the Breast Cancer Care Foundation. Good Jeans donated and auctioned off Good Jeans jackets in support of this worthy cause.
The idea to support breast cancer causes came from a close friend of founder Kate Fralin who is involved with the Breast Cancer Care Foundation and a breast cancer survivor herself. This friend and hero had worn her designer scarf so gracefully following her treatment and upon hearing about the Good Jeans idea turned to Kate and said, “This is a chance for women to take their scarves off their heads and put them into their jackets.” Thus, the idea to support breast cancer causes was borne.
